Path: Admin Panel → Sandbox Agent The Sandbox Agent page contains Settings and Sandboxes tabs for configuring how AI Chat runs in sandboxes.
For self-hosted setup, deploy the full-featured runtime plane first. See Architecture.

General Settings

Configure runtime limits under General settings in the Settings tab:

Sandbox Resources

Under Sandbox resources in the Settings tab, first set the default vCPUs, Memory, and Temporary Disk for each sandbox. To give a type of work different resources, fill in the matching cells in the Per-scenario settings table. Empty cells use the defaults. For example, if app previews often fail because they run out of memory, raise only the memory for App Builder without affecting other scenarios. Before saving, a confirmation dialog lists every change. Scenarios that still follow a default change along with it, and they’re listed too. New settings apply only to sandboxes created afterward; running sandboxes keep their current resources. To apply the settings right away, batch-destroy the relevant sandboxes by type in the Sandboxes tab.

Sandboxes Tab

Use the Sandboxes tab to view and manage current sandbox sessions. You can filter them by status, type, and other conditions. Ending active sessions interrupts running Agent work or app previews. Follow the in-product confirmation prompts before continuing. Clicking Batch destroy destroys all sandboxes matching the current filters, and you need to type DESTROY to confirm. Preview links for deployed apps stop working right away until the app owner reopens the chat.
